Facile Architecture is a personal architecture blog. This page explains what information may be collected when you visit the site, leave a comment, subscribe to updates or contact me.

I do not sell visitors' personal information.

Google Analytics

Facile Architecture uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the blog is being used.

Google Analytics may collect information such as:

• pages visited;

• approximate location;

• session and engagement information;

• how visitors arrived at the site.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish visitors and sessions.

I use this information to understand which articles are useful, how readers find the blog and where the site can be improved. I do not intentionally send personally identifiable information to Google Analytics.

Comments

Comments are provided through Blogger.

If you leave a comment, information associated with your comment and Google/Blogger account may be processed by Google according to its own policies.

Comments are moderated. Spam, promotional links, abusive content and comments unrelated to the article may be removed.

Please do not include private or sensitive personal information in a public comment.

Email Updates

Facile Architecture uses follow.it to offer article updates by email.

If you choose to subscribe, follow.it may process your email address and subscription preferences in order to deliver those updates.

Depending on how a subscription is made, the blog publisher may also have access to the subscriber's email address.

Subscription is optional, and readers can unsubscribe using the link provided in follow.it emails.

Follow.it operates under its own privacy policy and terms.

Forms and Surveys

Some articles may link to Google Forms, for example for surveys or research.

Information submitted through a form is collected only when you choose to provide it. The information requested and the purpose of the form may vary, so please read the description provided with the individual form before submitting a response.

Google Forms is a Google service and is also subject to Google's own privacy practices.

Facile Architecture and services used by the blog may use cookies or similar technologies.

These can support functions such as:

A link from this blog does not mean that I control the external site's data practices.

At present, Facile Architecture does not publish paid sponsored posts or use affiliate links.

If that changes, relevant commercial relationships will be clearly disclosed and this policy will be updated where necessary.

Facile Architecture is an architecture and educational blog intended for a general audience. It is not specifically directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information through the blog.
